Farmerboys are raisins and farmergirls apricots on 'Brandewijn'. 50 Years ago people preserved their fruit in Brandewijn, since other methods were not available. Nowadays 'Brandewijn' is not used very often anymore and therefore the traditional 'Brandewijn' nearly disappeared. Ofcourse we still make traditional 'Brandewijn' to prepare the traditional Farmerboys and -girls.
