A.van Wees, since 1883 and de Ooievaar, since 1782 is a traditional distillery settled in the Centre of Amsterdam: 'de Jordaan'.

This familybusiness is run by the third generation van Wees. We produce 17 types of geneva and about 60 types of liquor. Apart from that we're determined to keep other traditional drinks alive. Such as 'Maagbitter', Angostura, Fladderack.

All our products are without any exception distilled from natural ingredients. We don't use any artificial flavour or fragrance. Which is quite exceptional nowadays all over the world.

Working with pure nature, can be easily tasted in our products. They're honest, tastefull and able to ashtonish people. An experience of a geneva or liquor, which you have never tasted before.

Our liquorstore opened this website in order to enable people that cannot buy our products in their neighbourhood to buy them at the internet.
